The design
A sentence spiralling outwards from a flower core, every letter drawn by hand. Signal red on black, as high-contrast as a poster in a dark hallway – or on Island Reef, a cool mint green.
For everyone who at least gives it a try.
Every letter is drawn by hand and none of them sits still: the sentence spirals out of a small flower at the centre, the rays behind it break into fragments, and the whole thing reads best from arm's length. Signal red on Black is the loud version. On Island Reef, a cool mint, the same red turns friendlier for daylight. The words are the title of a 1966 book of poems and drawings – the story of the 1967 posters has the whole lineage.
Fabric & fit
6.1 oz/yd² (approx. 207 g/m²), heavyweight, garment dyed and soft-washed. Relaxed fit, unisex, sizes S up to 4XL – not every colour in every size, the picker shows what is in stock. Size up if you like it boxy.
